Manor Farm

Crackington  Haven, Nr Bude, North Cornwall

The Domesday List recorded in 1086 that the Manor was held by the Earl of Mortan, the half-brother of William the Conqueror. Since then the Manor has been tastefully restored and adapted.  It is now a delightful Country House with a warm house-party atmosphere, in a beautiful secluded position, surrounded by attractive gardens 30 acres of farmland.

The house is one mile from the beach at Crackington Haven, four miles from the picturesque harbour of Boscastle and twelve miles from the nearest holiday resort at Bude. Although there are the usual sporting facilities and sightseeing opportunities within easy reach, our main appeal is to those who wish to escape the crowds and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this corner of England.   The Eden Project is about 60 minutes drive away.

This area of Cornwall is designated ' Heritage Coast' being an area of  'Outstanding Natural Beauty' and is splendidly observed from the Coastal Footpath - part of the 500 mile South West Way.

We offer our guests the best of the 'old world' in our elegant surroundings and use of china, silver, glass and antiques furniture;  while incorporating the present day comforts of modern beds, electric blankets, central heating and up-to-date bathrooms.  There are four lounges including a TV lounge, and cocktail bar.  Our guests enjoy the warmth of our log fire in winter and our spacious accommodation and excellent home cooking all year round.

We trust that guests will appreciate our asking them not to smoke in the house.
